Ever since their introduction, consumables for the BMP41 and BMP51 have been highly appreciated by customers because of their extreme reliability. To make sure customers can continue to benefit fully from our premium portable printer identification experience, we are introducing the Brady Authenticated M4 & M5-series consumables.
● New, authenticated consumables, including some new label materials, were available for pre-ordering from mid-August onwards – they were officially launched September 14th.
● Label consumable chips are updated for increased functionality, references are updated for easier material selection, packaging is fully aligned to Brady brand guidelines for easy recognition.
● Current BMP41 and BMP51 printer consumable inventories will gradually be depleted from mid-August onwards.
● The new M511 label printer, which will only work with the new, authentically chipped M4- & M5-series consumables, will be launched on October 12th. Watch out for more news soon!

Recognition between printer, software, our Express Labels app and the installed label will be seamless. By authenticating label & ribbon cartridge materials, we reinforce our and your brand’s commitment to high quality by protecting the premium labelling experience our customers are looking for.
User experience with the current BMP41 and BMP51 Label Printers will not be affected and the new consumables will remain compatible with these printers.
The new M511 Label Printer coming October 12th
This new peripheral, cartridge-based printer will allow you to design and print labels both from your phone, using the Express Labels app as well as from a PC, printing directly from Brady Workstation software. It will only work with the new, Authentic M4 & M5-series consumables.
